Breakthrough to awesome! Read here!!!

Hey guys, its been about 10 days since my last video on youtube or update here on wordpress. I’ve been busy with work and such but I just wanted to wait to make a video until I had something worthy of posting. I think now is a good time though. I get quite a lot of views on my website and it sadens me that the potential is wasted when I don’t post. Then when I do post its only about myself and working out usually. So I thought I would try to open up some and create a new website with more than just talking about me working out. Fitness,Nutrition, Tools and of course… still my rambling blogs and video blogs(for people who like that? lol).

Anyway.. I’d like to formally welcome you to the NEW Nuwave Fitness! Check it out below and tell me what you think!!!!

This site will be replaced by the link below.

Look for all future information after today on the link below!

See you there!

Back to P90X, Wowy.com, GOMAD?!

IF you dont like reading… watch my video instead!

Hey guys its been a long time since my last post here. About 3 months ago, if you’ve been following me on youtube you already know my story. However if you haven’t then you should watch my you tube videos! Anyway though.. I got a full time about 3 weeks ago so that has been taking up all my time. I wake up at 5:30AM and I get home around 6:30 or so. By the time I change and everything its around 7PM and i’m exhausted. So I haven’t been able to work out as much anymore which sadens me :( . I used to work out everyday in the past because I had no job. Now that I have one, I’m too busy lol.

In other news, today was my first day doing a P90X workout since about 3.5 weeks ago. Today was Chest,Shoulders and Tripceps. I found a really cool hybrid mass muscle gainer workout online. It consists of P90X and P90X+ workouts combined. Which is what i’ve done and i know them inside out. I’ve done 2 rounds of P90X and 1 round of P90X+. So with this new workout schedule mixing both together. It promotes Hypertrophy the most and limits cardio to quick burts 1-2 times week. Which is ideal for my body type and my goal of gaining around 30 pounds within the next couple months.

Also, starting today I’m going to be posting my workouts online at wowy.com, which is basically an online gym for beachbody products where you can see who is doing what workout. If you would like to add me search for “NuWaveFitness”, that way you can see my workouts and start with me!

I’m also going to try GOMAD which stands for Gallon  OF    MILK    A    DAY. Basically drinking a whole gallon of milk a day to gain weight. Breaking it down into 4 different intervals. One liter(33oz) at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and post workout or before bed to halt catabolism. I just took my first 33oz a few minutes ago and its pretty hard on the stomach. I hope my body can adjust to it well because its something I really want to try(depsite how expensive it is for milk here in hawai….)

What a long strange trip its been…

January 3, 2011 1 comment

Hey guys, Its been a long time since my last post and I have A  LOT of new information to share with you! So Lets get started!!

When I last left you off I was preparing myself for boot camp for the marines. Well I did go but unfortunately I got injured doing boot camp and got discharged and sent back home. I had gotten stress fractures in both femurs and it made it impossible for me to run past 0.5 miles. I’ve been recovering since November and now I’m able to run again fairly far lengths without my legs hurting too much. They still hurt some but not as bad as it used to be.

So now im back home without the military career to fall back on. With that being said it looks like im back to looking for employment. One idea I have is being an Independant BeachBody Coach. I’ve been offered it in the past by having people message me on youtube and asking me to join their team for it. I turned it down back then because I didn’t think I could do it.

Now I feel like maybe I really could do it and have it be successful. Of course it would require an investment(money wise), a lot of effort and time as well but I feel like it could bring good results if I work hard enough at it. It’s something i’ve been wanting to try for a while now. I always get people message me on youtube and say that I inspire them or help motivated them to want to start P90X. By being a coach I feel like I could take all that to the next level and really get the word out there and motivate people on a much larger scale with the P90X/+ products behind me.

So now I’ve decided to create a new channel. More directed at Fitness Reviews, Vlogs, Diet Guides, P90X Fitness Ideas and just in general a much more professional channel than my previous channel was. Reason being is because my old channel has a lot of random things on there. Like video games and other stuff that makes absolute no sense on what I’m trying to create. So I’d like to personally send you an invitation to subscribe to my new channel on youtube and lets make this dream a reality in the new year!

T-Minus 9 days until marine bootcamp

October 9, 2010 3 comments

hey everyone, its been about a week since I last posted. Not too much to talk about. I’ve been doing my P90X but taking it really easy so I dont injure myself. That leg injury made it impossible to run and I’m still feeling the effects almost 2 weeks after it happened. I still have problems with my legs right now trying to run. I did Upper + today with a 15 pound weighted vest on and used the 30 pound dumbbell exclusively. With only 9 days left until boot camp I wanna go easy and not get myself hurt. So I’ll be doing lots of yoga and x stretch about 3 days before I leave. In other news my girlfriend might actually be moving in with me while I’m gone. She might move in with my mom and see me when i get back from boot camp. We met online and have never seen each other in person yet but im asking her to move in with my mom before i even see her lol. I care for her a lot and i know its true love. I’ll know by today or tomorrow if she decides to buy her ticket to fly  to here in Hawaii from her place in utah! About 3000 miles away lol. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

In other news my recruiter called me today and had me speak with the master sergeant over at my recon reserve unit. THe MSGT was telling me about recon training and that i’ll be told a lot of bullshit that isn’t true. He was telling me today that people are saying you have to drown in training but he said thats not true. He said he sent 2 guys up for recon training and at after boot camp you go to SOI(school of infantry) for 2 months. During SOI those 2 guys got physed out from all the instructors saying how hard recon training is and the guys he sent quit before recon school even started!! Thats whack lol. They got scared and psyched out. Hopefully I can pass it though! I’m gonna bring that P90X determination to hit play everyday and do my best and forget the rest!

Countdown !!! 9 days! :O

T-Minus 16 days until marine bootcamp

October 2, 2010 2 comments

So yesterday was Yoga X and today was X stretch. Went pretty well overall, however I feel like I got a bad strained muscle in my right leg. I can feel it when I walk and it hurts. Id suck at running if you asked me to right now because it hurts. I could push through the pain to run if needed but  i’m trying to rest it now. I think it was from running around the track with 20 pound vest on before my body was adjusted to any additional weight. So i really hope I heal before boot camp lol considering I’d be running like 3 miles a day or something.  I’m gonna keep doing P90X until the day before I leave. My last two days will probably be Yoga X followed by X stretch so I can be super flexible before I leave. Since I wont be getting sleep for about 32 hours after that lol.

T-Minus 18 days until marine bootcamp

So its been a few days since my last post. Not all that much has changed but it turns out im leaving 1 day earlier than expected. I did Legs & Back today then AB Ripper X, I used 15 pound weighted vest for legs and back. It was soo hard, probably one of the most exhausting workouts ive done. Some moves weren’t so hard but others with the vest on were insane. One of the coolest things I like how using the vest is how hard it makes pull ups. I’m able to do 6-12 pull ups max with the 15lb vest on. If its an upper body workout only I’ll use the 20lbs and do like 5-10 pull ups. Today for example I was using the 15lb vest for my whole workout and the last exercise was switch grip pull ups. So i was able to do 7, almost 8 with the vest on. I was soo exhausted like for real, still though I took my vest off and cranked out like 5 pull ups in the time it took me to do 2 weighted pull ups. It makes me feel soo much lighty its pretty unreal! I didn’t run today because I did legs and back. Tomorrow is Yoga though and i’m curious to try doing yoga with a 15lb vest on, 20 seems a lil too much though. I might run tomorrow also. I’m excited but also nervous about boot camp coming up lol. Most excited though because I get to see my GF during my 10 days vacation after it! Keep doing your best and never give up!

T-Minus 23 days until marine bootcamp

Yup, I’m just training as much as I can to get ready for this. I’ve been running everyday since I got back and started doing P90X with a 15 pound weighted vest on. It makes pull ups and push ups sooo much harder. Today was my first day using it and so far I’m impressed. I did chest and back, usually I can do 30 push ups and like 12-15 pull ups on the exercises. Today I was struggling to hit 15-20 push ups and struggling to go past 8 pull ups and sometimes even 6 pull ups towards the end. I think its good stuff. I’m only using 15 pounds and I still can put another 5 pounds in it for 20 max. I ran 2.5 miles today nonstop which is okay I guess. I gotta be able to run 3 miles nonstop though before I leave. Well its not required cause I’m sure I’ll be able to after the 12 weeks of boot camp but I’d like to be ahead of the game. My shipdate is October 18th, 2010! :O
